On March 4, 2022, Master of Economics Trisakti successfully held a public lecture with the theme “Anticipating money laundering through digital financial technology“.

“The existence of Fintech actually aims to make it easier for people to access financial products. But in reality, behind the ease and convenience offered, there is already the fact that Fintech can also be misused as a means of certain crimes, such as terrorism and money laundering. To anticipate these negative impacts, PPATK has established a Fintech Desk, which will coordinate with related institutions such as Bank Indonesia and the Financial Services Authority so that misuse, such as for the purpose of funding terrorism, can be countered early.”

In this public lecture, Mr. Danang Tri Hartono, Director of PPATK Reporting, Dr. Rinaldi Rustam, ME, Head of the Master of Economics Program and Dr. Ermania Widjayanti SH, M Hum were the speakers.
